Summer School

Summer School is the cornerstone of our year's training. It is where the whole association from London, Bristol and Torquay get together for three days of intensive training.  All of the courses which have been run throughout the year will be covered and summarised, you have no work to distract you, you are not dragging yourself to class after a hard days work, all you have to concentrate is on is Karate.

Training is outdoors, relaxed and fun but you will learn more in these three days than you do in three month's regular training - ask anyone who has been on previous Camps. Summer School culminates with a final grading for everyone.

Summer School 2006

Another successful Summer School has come to an end. This year was as big as ever with students coming from as far as Japan, USA and Norway to train and enjoy the atmosphere.  Sessions taught over the weekend included Jo, Knife, Nunchaku, Boxing, Groundwork, Tai Sabaki, Chinese Hands and more. The weekend culminated with the grading on the Monday afternoon. There were many good performances and the Bristol club gained one new Shodan and one Shodan-Ho black belt along with a host of other grades. Well done to James and Elin.
