The annual Ed Ball Memorial Competition takes place on the 11th February 2006. This is an annual Daigaku event which this year involved clubs from Bristol, London, Southampton and Torquay. The aim of the event is to bring together all members of the association and to raise money for local charities in Ed's home town of Nottingham. Ed Was a keen, energetic and enthusiastic member of the Bristol club, always at socials and most of the time at training. He sadly passed away seven years ago. This year, competitors will take part in sparring, grappling and kata events with separate categories depending on grade.

UGS 2005

UGS 2005 took place on Sunday 23rd October. This was an opportunity to train with three very different instructors.  Sensei Lewis was among them, teaching Hakutsuru Te. For more information see www.ugs2005.com
